Despite their reputation, these majestic animals are calm and predictable in their natural habitat, making for a safe diving experience. Good buoyancy control and calmness are important in order not to disturb the sharks' behavior and to make the experience safe. Once on the seabed, these impressive giants often swim just a few meters away from you. You can watch as they explore their territory, circle each other and occasionally react curiously to the divers before losing interest and retreating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What is particularly impressive about this dive is that one diver in a protective suit feeds the sharks with fish while a second diver acts as a safety partner. Every dive is unique, but this experience is sure to leave a lasting impression.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator alignwide has-text-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-background is-style-wide\" style=\"background-color:#4747471a;color:#4747471a\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns alignwide is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-995f960e wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:40%\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\">This is how the day goes!<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We meet in the morning at our dive center, not far from the center of Playa del Carmen. We prepare the necessary equipment and discuss the upcoming dives over a cup of coffee or a glass of water and then make our way to \"Coco Beach\", the beach where our boat and crew are already waiting for us. After a short drive, we reach the \"Bull Shark Point\" and take our time getting ready. After the obligatory buddy check, we roll backwards into the sea. In small groups (max. 4 divers\/guide) we dive in crystal-clear water to a depth of approx. 24-27 m to a sandy area that is ideal for experiencing the sharks up close.
